The service here is great! First time eating in at this nice place hospitality was nice, waitress was nice and always checked up on me. Although the furniture needs some TLC but that's quickly ignored by the nice way you bet treated and of course the amazing food they have.

I heard so much about this restaurant and it came highly recommended. I came for lunch and my food was ready within 15-20 minutes. I ordered the almond chicken and it was delicious. I would definitely come back.

My friend and I went to the Mandarin House to get some take out. After ordering I decide to use the restroom and on the way there I came across a booth with a TV, lots of books, toys, trash, etc. To me, it looked like someone was living there. My friend ordered the Almond Chicken and it was disgusting. The chicken looked frozen and rubbery, the veggies were almost brown and almonds tasted like plastic. Would and will not be returning to this restaurant.

My son raved about this place when he comes with his friends ...so I thought id give ut a tRY...
I came and ordered chicken chow mein, sweet and soxur pork & walnut shrimp.....Chow mein was very flavorful and plenty of sprouts and chicken in it...walnut shrimp was crispy & tender once you bit it...flavor was also perfect...unfortunately I didnt think the same of sweet n sour pok..meat seemed over cooked and dry...
I don't know what's going on if they changed cooks or something. ...food isn't what it use 2 be .... -

Have eaten here probably 100 times in my lifetime. Tonight the hubby and I wanted Chinese, but didn't want to drive to Visalia. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young, pork fried rice, and shrimp combo. The sweet and sour chicken is usually crisp on the outside, however, it was mushy this time. No fried crispness... The egg foo young, was delicious as always, and the rice was just ok. My husband had never dined here, so he didn't know what to expect. He didn't care for his sesame chicken , as it had a smoky, bbq type flavor. Not even close to the best Chinese food in the valley, but much better than exeter's only other option (fortune cookie). Their egg flower soup is pretty good here, and I usually like the veggie chow mien. Service is always stellar, and you never wait long for your food.
